Fix Your Ballmarks! If the green is thawed enough to create a ballmark, you can certainly fix it too. Help out your fellow players and keep the greens in great condtion.
The 15th & 16th green have stakes around them. They will continue to have them until aerification. When we have snow storms we have been noticing more foot traffic from walkers and coasters on the property. Foot traffic can create ice on the putting greens which leads to bigger problems. After a snow event, the ground staff puts the rope up and removes the rope prior to opening for play. We leave the t-posts in the ground due to the frozen soils.
Most of the geese this winter are seen up in the air. Up and Away Goose Control has made a large impact to our goose populations this winter and has freed up the staff to tackle other more important tasks.
