Shop Care

Reinvesting in the maintenance facility is more than just aesthetics. It instills pride in the staff to care for their work place. Keeping it clean and tidy often reflects the care they provide on the golf course too. This week we started on a new roof for the shop. It has been in disrepair and has been causing problems operationally. We are upgrading the insulation which will assist heating and cooling. We are going back with a much stronger roof similar to what is on the clubhouse and should be very reliable for years to come. The new flat roof will be hail proof too.

The roof is also getting an upgrade to the drainage system and downspouts. This will allow the water to leave the roof and building properly. The old roof did a great job of allowing water inside the building.

Following the roof project we will freshen the exterior of the building with a new coat of paint. There is a long list of maintenance facility improvements that are being budgeted over the next several years to improve, streamline and better the entire club.
