Irrigation Blowout

Mother Nature gave us one day to winterize the irrigation system before one of the largest storms we have seen in a while rolled through town. The amount of snow would be a welcome sight to provide some rest and plenty of moisture to the course. This is something we normally do not see here in Denver. With 14 inches of snow recorded, it could very well be closed for the remaining days of 2019.

It was a busy day the Monday before Thanksgiving as we split into seven teams of two throughout the property to blow out the irrigation lines.

My older daughters were off from school for the week, so they spent the day helping out. Maybe they were more interested with pizza for lunch, but they enjoyed watching the air push water out through the lines. They learned to work faster in the cold weather.

The snow began to fall as we wrapped up the day. The crew did a great job of completing the entire property.
