By Thursday afternoon last week we had the practice green put together and completely sodded. It will need a week or more to root and be able to take on foot traffic.
Some rolling and topdressing will assist with keeping the area smooth.
The added collar will help with aesthetics, drainage and playability for the future.
This green took four days to complete. This is a snapshot of what is to come with a golf course renovation. The greens on the course will be slightly more involved with some irrigation adjustments, bunker inclusion and of course the greens are larger. However, with an experienced team and the right equipment, the process can go fairly quick.
