Small Putting Green Renovation

The small putting green is getting a facelift this week. The collar dams around this green are the most severe on the course.

After an irrigation cycle the green holds water like a bath tub and compromises turf conditions.

Also the dams are so high that they are a trip hazard. We are closing the green this week to make some needed repairs. All of the sod around the green will be replaced and we will incorporate a new collar around the green to have three heights of cut.

The landscape beds will see a makeover as well. A few flowering trees will be planted later this fall which add nice color and enhance the golf entrance.
