Last week we bid farewell to "Cool" Jack. He has been a rough mower here at Pinehurst for the last 5 seasons. You saw him circling the fairways and helping to find your golf ball in the rough.
Jack has had some recent health issues and he and his bride wanted to see more of their grand kids. Jack was a great staff member. He always had a great attitude and was never short on jokes for the crew.
He will be missed out here.
In the meantime we are busy getting a couple of new staff members trained up on rough mowing around the club. We just need Mother Nature to slow down with the rain so it won't grow so fast.
