This morning we saw a lot of emergence of rye grass around the putting green. There continues to be some foot traffic around the green from the remaining concrete pours. We will continue to seed the surround here as needed.
We have begun seeding the driving range tee. The tee will be all perennial rye grass. This is the fastest seed to germinate and it is used the most to over seed the golf course in tees and fairways. Rye grass has a deep green color and will really look and perform spectacular.
Today we poured the curbing and some of the stamped band around the cart staging area. The color of the all of the new concrete is called canyon. It has a great earth tone and matches up nicely to the green grass. It also cuts some of the brightness of the regular gray color of concrete.
