Day 19 - Monday, August 27, 2018

The range tee is really taking shape now. We have begun installing irrigation lines in the tee. Irrigation and drainage lines go in first and then they will push the old greens mix back on the tee. Once the topsoil goes onto the tee, it will be laser leveled. It will have a 1% slope from the back to front for drainage purposes. Most tees are built this way and golfers will not notice the slope. However, having a smooth surface on the tee will be a welcomed sight.

Curbing is being installed around the putting green. This curb has a gentle slope to it compared to the abrupt slope of a normal curb. These curbs are user-friendly as maintenance equipment can access areas as needed. The slope also informs golfers that they are on the edge of the path.

Once the curbs are done we can complete irrigation around the putting green and begin seeding the green.
