Did I mention that this was a big green? 22,000 sq. ft. is two and half times larger than the old green. It is important to get the drainage right. These guys did a great job getting it right.
Once the drains are in, we can bring in the greens mix. That mountain in the parking log is your new green. It is a 90% sand and 10% peat mix. The sand is a USGA specified green mix to allow for proper drainage, firmness and growing medium.
The mix is dumped on the edge of the green and a skid steer is used to move the mix throughout the green to fill the 12" cavity.

This is the ash tree at the cart pad. So far so good.
