Foot Traffic

Walking golf courses can be a great source for recreation and exercise especially after a snowfall. However we urge that the golf course putting greens be avoided in the winter from foot traffic. Pictured here is the 16th green which has seen a lot of high traffic. We are forced to rope off the green to prevent any further traffic.

The foot traffic can create ice on the surface and can be a potential threat to the health of plants. Other sources of recreation such as snow shoes and ski poles can tear the turf below the snow. We ask that anyone walking the golf course in the winter months, please respect the property and stay on the perimeter of the playing surfaces.
