The ash trees are unique because they began leafing out in early May, but the Mother's Day snowstorm killed the buds. So they are now going through the process again starting to bud and leaf out. We are noticing some real slow growth and maybe some decline in plum trees around the course. But it is still too early to tell.
Colorado is extremely hard on trees especially deciduous trees. Native pines, oaks, cottonwoods and willows usually can handle the temperature and moisture swings.
