Parking Lot Renovation

Early to rise as the base material is put in place. Crushed fines are used to level the asphalt base, but also to create a "ball-bearing" effect between concrete and the base. These fines are used to fill in any cracks in the asphalt, but primarily the asphalt is a great base for us to work from to pour a great concrete surface.

Pouring began at 7am. This photo included the entire pouring process. A laser level is used to compact and pitch the surface for proper drainage.

Boring for utilities occurred on Monday. This gives us options to upgrade lighting, communication and irrigation.

The grounds staff acted quickly as numerous golf carts and plywood were installed for a wind break and prevent falling leaves to disrupt the finishing process of the concrete.

This trowel is used to put the final broom finish on the lot. A broom finish is desired for traction. Then a sealer is placed on the final product. Each pour will take 7-10 days for proper curing before opening the parking lots.

After the upper lot we will move to the east side drive lane along the pool drop off area and outside tennis. Please pay attention to signage as traffic and parking may change.
