Production Week

Aerification this week on the 18 hole course is going smooth and we are on target. We are excited to get the golf course open on Saturday, well to be honest the staff is more excited for the weekend off after the long hours and hard work they are putting in this week. They really have done a great job.

I thought I would give you a sneak peak at the new tees. The top picture is the new 15th tee. It was sodded on Tuesday. It will take a few weeks to mature and be ready for play. It is important that this tee grows in properly for long term success.

The bottom photo is the 12th tee. A greenhouse effect is being applied to speed up the development of the turf. Holes 12 and 17 have greatly benefited from the turf covers this spring and will be ready for play on Saturday.

They will not be at the normal height of cut immediately. The maturing process requires sufficient root development for long term success.
