Continuing Education

This is Pro Green Expo Week at the Colorado Convention Center. This conference and trade show is the best local source for education and conversing with local vendors for supplies.

The trade show is open from today through Friday. There is a wide array of vendors from equipment to products such as fertilizer, plant health products and beyond.

Making connections and networking is always important this week. It is a great way to connect with other landscape managers to understand how others are handling certain stresses.

Education classes are also being taught throughout the week. Classes focus not only on dirt, water, trees and plants, but there are management and chemical applicators classes too. Colorado State University professors and researchers provide updates for the region. Recently there have been a few new developments with plant stresses in Colorado such as downy mildew on impatiens, Japanese Beetles on turfgrass and the Emerald Ash Borer for trees.

Check back later this week for more from the Expo.
