12 Tee Renovation

 

The 12th tee renovation is underway and we began with left hand tee. As we begin the leveling process a couple of other issues are being addressed. The orientation of the tee will now be directed to the middle of the green. Before, the tee was directed toward the hill left of the green.

The elevation of the tee will raise slightly. To correct the evenness of the tee, some additional top soil is being added to provide a better teeing ground. It will also help with drainage and prevent water from coming off the cart path and onto the tee.

 

The most noticeable enhancement is that we are splitting the tee into two surfaces. By correcting the orientation of the tee, two tees are necessary.

 

The 17th tee is sodded and complete. The black mesh mats on the tee attract additional sunlight to extend root growth through the fall and into winter. The tees will be closed for the winter and will open in the spring. Please use the temporary tees provided during the winter so the tee can be in top shape for the new golf season.
