You can never poke enough holes in the ground in Colorado. Today we vented more areas of the rough to relieve compaction and get oxygen into the root zone. This might be my favorite practice for improving conditions on the golf course. It also allows for better water percolation and prevent water from sitting on top of the surface, which is the worst for playability and agronomy.
