Evening Maintenance

The CGA Men's Stroke Play Championship begins on the Maxwell Course on Thursday morning. The final day is Sunday. Needless to say, there is a lot to do for the tournament. Tee times go off the 1st and 10th tee Thursday and Friday morning at 7.30am.

Over the next four evenings the staff will be out mowing, cleaning and filling divots until sunset. This will be done to allow for timely maintenance each morning. It will be nice and quiet during the day on the course. By 4.30pm the staff will return to the course and begin maintenance starting on the 1st hole.

WARNING: Per request by the CGA, the rough will not be cut again this week. Rough mowers got around all 18 holes on Monday and Tuesday. The forecast is calling for temperatures in the 70's and low 80's over the next few days. That is perfect grass growing weather. Keep it in the fairway.
