Yesterday Harriman began to fill, finally! The reservoir that had been under construction since December of 2011 is getting it's water back. It remains to be seen on how far it will fill and how much water is available to the club, but we have to start somewhere.
The first step is to fill the dead pool, which is the bottom of the reservoir that can not be used. After that, the state will manage the filling process and evaluate how quickly it can fill. With the current flow of Bear Creek and our limited snow pack, it is unlikely that the reservoir will fill in 2013, but we can hope.
