Cart Rules

The warm and dry weather can have a negative impact this time of year to course conditions. Severe swings in temperature can lead to excessive drying of turfgrass plants. When cart traffic is thrown into the mix, high traffic areas become worn down to dirt.
In the spring, those areas will require far more TLC including water, seed, and fertilizer. We would be forced to close those areas in the spring which would then lead to other areas becoming susceptible to high traffic damage. These actions create a snowball affect that we would be chasing all season and the quality would suffer.
Beginning Wednesday Jan. 23rd, handicapped golf carts will only be allowed for use on both the Pfluger and the Maxwell golf courses.  We will continue to monitor course conditions on a daily basis and communicate any changes to the cart restrictions as soon as possible.
We fully understand the desire to get out and play during these warm days. We are working to prevent long term damage during the winter months.
