A very dry day today for the first round of Pine Daze. We recorded .26 for our evaporation rate. We'll only be able to put out 40% of that number to replenish the soil. The course is holding up fairly well, but it is firm.
Tonight we took care of some mowing to help lighten the load in the morning. We also dumped 6,000 gallons of water on greens tonight just by pulling hoses and hand watering greens. This is the best method for deep watering on stressed areas. Hand watering also assists with keep surfaces consistent and we can put water exactly where it is required.
