Wetting Agents

Anticipating drought conditions, we have been busy putting wetting agents into the soil. While the plants are healthy it is important to incorporate them into the system.
The product applied yesterday to Maxwell greens is a multi-purpose surfactant. It reduces surface tension of water by allowing infiltration through the thatch. The product also reduces dry spots and improves hydrophobic soils. After the product is applied through a sprayer it is important that it is washed into the soil accordingly.
