Water Update

This sums up where we stand with water these days (Click on the graph to enlarge). The South Platte River Basin is at 37% of normal snow pack conditions. If it is any consolation, it is the "richest" basin in the state.

Our gauge on the Bear Creek is running at 16% of historical average. The state has informed us that our river water will be turned off today, May 1st. Historically this water comes to us into June.

Conservation will be at a premium as we begin to draw water from our storage reservoirs. The staff continues to make irrigation adjustments and carefully audit the system for optimum performance. We are putting the final touches on a drought management plan for the golf course and grounds.
