After years of topdressing these old native soil greens the irrigation heads begin to sit lower in the profile. Over the next few weeks, we will be addressing any low irrigation heads around the perimeter of the greens and return them to grade.
Carefully the heads needs to be dug properly as they are still under pressure. Below, John our irrigation specialist is training some of the staff on how to address this process.
Bringing these irrigation heads to grade and making sure they are level increases the sprinkler head's performance and efficiency.
