Water Update

Since we are headed toward the driest March ever with zero precipitation, inquiring minds are beginning to speak up. Here is the latest on our water situation. Click here for the latest information on snow depth and water equivalent at the nearest SNOTEL location close to our source in the mountains. It provides a simple comparison to last year on where we stand. By the looks of things right now we are OK. However we did have a wet spring in the mountains last year which leads to a greater supply of water later into the growing season. So far the Bear Creek levels are looking ok. They are slightly under historical levels at this time. Our irrigation ditch water splits off from the creek in Morrison and travels through an intricate system all the way to Pinehurst.
