Tree Maintenance

Tree trimming on a honey locust tree at the clubhouse
Over the next month we will have Swingle Tree Company on site to accomplish some much needed tree care. They have begun in the clubhouse parking lot and will be getting around to almost all of the golf holes. Swingle is able to manage those hard to reach places that our staff cannot. They have experts trained to climb and cut.
Most of the care is needed toward the deciduous trees. Removing the deadwood and broken limbs creates a healthy tree for new growth. Safety is a major concern with tree care. Large trees like Cottonwoods, Ash and Willows have excessive growth and need constant care. The Maples, Elms, Honey Locust are beautiful trees within the property that need some fine tuning.
Swingle and the maintenance staff will mark areas of trimming for your safety. Please do not enter these areas. The contractor is usually running chain saws with ear protection. They cannot always hear or see people below.
