The first construction project this winter is the reduction of the lip on the practice bunker. Lowering this lip allows players to see how their shot ends up on the green. This picture was taken pre-construction.
Below is where we are today. We are getting close to final grade, but we did have to alter some grades with the green. To prevent puddling and allow proper surface drainage we need to address the sub-surface of some of the green and regrade appropriately.
Due to grade changes in the putting surface we removed some of the existing sod and set it off to the side. Once we reach final grade the sod will be replaced.
