As golf courses around the country close their doors for good, one can only think that the game is correcting itself. The upside is that stable golf courses can benefit from these circumstances. In our case we are taking on many pieces of turf equipment for a price that can not be matched anywhere else.
Not far from us, Green Gables Country Club has sold and will no longer exist as a golf course. The equipment was put up for sale and we have been able to fill a few holes in our operation.
We have taken on fairway mowers, rough mowers, a topdresser, sprayer, irrigation equipment, a chemical storage container, course accessories, mechanical lift, trimmers, hover mowers and some shop tools all for about the price of a brand new 2012 rough mower.
