The First Snow Fall

The first snow fall was a heavy and wet one. Many leaves were still on the trees as the snow fell. This created more surface area for the snow to sit. As the temperatures dropped and the snow became heavier, many branches have given way. For the most part, the trees have melted off since yesterday and the damage is done.
The staff is going through the property and cutting limbs up to be removed. Through the winter we will continue to prune trees. With over 2,300 trees on the property we maintain a priority list for tree care that includes health of the plant, safety, playability, turf quality and overall aesthetics.
